The SHADEDIY app is being built for iPhone running iOS 17 or later.

No. Most builds need only basic household tools, and the app lists everything you need before you start. Plans are written for first-timers.

Our guides use low-voltage parts wherever possible and include a safety note on every step that needs one. For anything involving mains voltage, we recommend a licensed electrician.

They are used only to measure your window and create your build plan. You can delete them at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains the details.

In the app, go to Settings › Account › Delete account. You can also email hi@shadediy.com and we will delete your account and data for you.
